Outdoor Therapist and Activity Instructor
Riverlee is an Outdoor Therapist and Activity Instructor. Her goals and aspirations are to help foster a deeper connection with nature and its healing benefits, as well as introduce others to new outdoor pursuits and strengthen their passion for these activities. Riverlee loves to white water kayak, hike, climb mountains. she uses all of these pursuits not just for exercise and fun, but also for the communities and the space that they create for healing.
She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Brock University. After completing her degree, she went to New Zealand and received her diploma in Outdoor Education from the Sir Edmund Hillary Outdoor Education Centre.
Riverlee’s areas of specialization include sea kayaking instruction and trip leading, hiking and orienteering (both leading and teaching), and group facilitation through adventure-based learning exercises/activities.
She enjoys helping others discover their passions for the outdoors and its healing properties, She helps foster that life-long connection with nature, and the communities that exist within these activities.
