Ashley is a Mental Wellness and Addiction Counsellor. Her goals consist of lifelong learning and understanding the human experience. Ashley aspires to continue education and make waves in the field of addictions and mental health. Ashley’s interests are anything “ology” Psychology, Sociology, Paleontology, Anthropology, Astrology, and some. Her professional hero is Gabor Mate. Accomplishments in her career are working the front lines of the opioid crisis in Ontario, Community stakeholder SLC, and her career with our facility. Her values correlate with the values in her day to day work. Trust, education, respect, empathy, and human to human connection. Outside of work she is the same as at work, laughter is medicine, she practices what she teaches and is living a life of wellness. Ashley’s inspiration comes from her own experiences of climbing out of the grips of addiction. Her passion comes from fighting her own demons head-on and walking side by side with her clients over into the light. Her mission is to share her passion and education to anyone who crosses her path.
